Secara lokal dikenal pula nama <em>lawara \u00a0<\/em>Mentimun. \u00a0Lawara Timun berbahan dasar buah timun, kelapa parut yang telah dibakar, jeruk nipis, dan garam.<\/p>\n<p>Timun dimanfaatkan pula sebagai pendingin perut jika mengalami panas dalam. Timun dimanfaatkan pula sebagai masker alami untuk merawat wajah.<\/p>\n<p>Berdasarkan pengalaman kami menanam timun di kebun, masa produktif tanaman ini tergolong singkat.
