Salah satu tanaman pangan yang ditanam di kebun RHD pada tahun 2014-2015 yakni Sorgum. Benih tanaman ini diperoelh Darmawan Denassa, pemilik RHD di Kupang, Maros, dan Bajeng Gowa. Tanaman kemudian di uji coba ditanam di kebun RHD dengan hasil yang cukup baik.
